The click and collect service is where an eBay item is shipped and delivered to one of the several click and collect stores available in the United Kingdom.
The recipient receives a confirmation message that the parcel has arrived and then they can go and collect the item from the store.
The ECP number provided by eBay must be included on the label, otherwise the store won't be able to receive the item. Thanks to the ECP unique number, the store will notify the recipient for collecting the parcel. For this reason, it is essential that the ECP number is clearly visible on the shipping label.
The recipient can collect the parcel only if they provide the ECP unique number. Furthermore, please note that a valid ID is required for the buyer to collect the item.
