Delivery Times
- Transit time varies depending on the service booked.
- The delivery times offered by eBay Delivery are indicative and estimated, and are calculated exclusively in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
- During the shipment booking process, the delivery time of the selected service will be displayed.
- Shipment tracking will be available on our platform from the day after the parcel is collected or dropped off.
Important
Occasionally, for logistical reasons, or due to unforeseen circumstances beyond eBay Delivery control, such as: traffic incidents, adverse weather conditions, public roadworks, vehicle breakdowns, transport sector strikes or other force majeure events, it is not possible to collect or deliver the parcel on the estimated date.
Proof of Delivery
- The proof of delivery can only be requested by the person who booked the service.
- eBay Delivery does not offer certified delivery services. Therefore, the goods can be received by a third party, not necessarily the shipment recipient.
Restrictions
- The user must check the list of prohibited and no compensation items to ensure that the content of their shipment is permitted.
Terms of Service
- It is the user's responsibility to track their shipment and provide eBay Delivery with the necessary information or solution via the Help Center Contact Form, within a maximum of 5 working days from the first incident.
- In case of absence at the time of delivery, the carrier will try to leave a delivery notice at the recipient's home address, whenever possible. Likewise, the shipment may be dropped off at an agreed delivery point for collection.
- The return to origin of the shipment is not included in any of the services offered by eBay Delivery, regardless of the reason for the return (absence of the recipient, incorrect or incomplete address, rejection of the shipment by the recipient, etc.).
- Except for services with guaranteed delivery, delivery times are indicative and estimated. Therefore, in case of delay attributable to the carrier, the user will not be entitled to a refund of the shipping costs.
Coverage
Standard Protection
- All shipments made through eBay Delivery include the standard coverage established in the applicable transport contract.
Extra Protection
- The user may purchase extra protection for their shipment.
- This coverage will apply as long as the transported goods are not included in the list of prohibited and no compensation items, and the damage is not due to insufficient or inadequate packaging. In these cases, the user accepts at the time of booking that the shipment travels without the extra protection coverage.
